App terms
Last updated: 13 October 2026
KiwiPhone is operated by Rebase Ventures Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, number 12607001. Our registered office is 2 Upperton Gardens, Eastbourne, East Sussex, BN21 2AH, United Kingdom.
Damien Tanner, CEO, is responsible for privacy. Contact him at hi@kiwiphone.app or write to our registered office, marked “KiwiPhone privacy”.
These terms cover the KiwiPhone mobile app and the features made available to your account. You can create an account in the app. TestFlight provides iPhone early access, and Google Play testing tracks provide Android test access. Availability depends on the country and the checks required for that service. Our website terms separately cover launch-list requests.
Direct signups use Free and can choose an available Pro subscription through their app store. Verified website and Meta leads receive complimentary Pro while using TestFlight during the enabled testing phase. We will tell beta users when complimentary access ends. They then return to Free unless they hold an independently verified production subscription. A paid subscription requires a separate store purchase.
Your business and callers
You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the business. Each account serves one owner. Keep the business notes and account details accurate. You remain responsible for checking information before confirming a booking, price or other commitment.
You must use KiwiPhone lawfully, establish the authority to handle caller information and provide the notices or choices required for your use. The data processing agreement forms part of these terms and sets out how we handle customer data on your instructions. Accepting these terms includes accepting that agreement for your business. The app privacy notice explains how we use personal information.
UK 999/112, Canadian 911 and New Zealand 111 calling use Telnyx after emergency setup is complete in a supported app build. Your registered location is the business address supplied during onboarding. Keep it up to date through Business address in Settings. Settings also contains “Call emergency services”. Tell the operator your current location and callback number. Internet and power failures can prevent calls. Users must acknowledge these limits before using the route. Read our emergency calling information before activating a number or subscribing. Earlier app builds require your phone’s normal calling service. Clinical or legal triage falls outside the app’s scope. Misuse, impersonation, unsolicited bulk calling and attempts to bypass service security are prohibited.
Business search includes Google Maps features and content. Your use of those features and content is subject to the Google Maps End User Additional Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
Free allowance and Pro
Free includes five AI pickups per account per week, resetting Monday at 00:00 UTC. We reserve a pickup immediately before starting AI answering, once per call: short, failed or uncertain starts count and are not automatically refunded. All AI answering routes share the allowance. When it is used up, you can still answer incoming calls; otherwise they end without AI answering or voicemail. We notify you with an upgrade option.
Verified Pro trial, paid and billing-grace access include unlimited AI answering on one owned business number and unlimited domestic outbound calling through Telnyx without per-call charges. Domestic means the country of your business number, not your device location. When the relevant country service is available, ordinary domestic fixed and mobile destinations in the UK, Canada and New Zealand are supported. Existing US accounts retain their supported domestic routes. UK03/0800/0808 and standard US toll-free ranges are included; international, premium and other service/special numbers are blocked. Emergency calls in these countries use the separate free route described above. Ordinary calls have a 30-minute limit; one owner call at a time, abuse prevention and provider safety controls apply. Country availability follows the service checks required for release.
Tapping a number offers business or personal calling. Free accounts choosing business calling see Pro. A Free personal callback shows “Calling will expose your personal number, are you sure?” and needs explicit confirmation before opening the phone’s calling app. Pro personal callbacks open that calling app directly. “Upgrade now” opens an offer. After upgrading, you must choose the callback action again to place a call. Business-number outbound calls are transcribed using the same method as owner-answered inbound calls and appear in History. KiwiPhone retains call text. Personal callbacks use your own carrier outside KiwiPhone transcription. Provider processing and retention are explained in the privacy notice.
Declining Pro, refund or expiry does not change your assigned number or saved routing preferences. Free AI limits and the personal-number callback confirmation then apply. Unlimited AI does not change the per-call duration, transcript retention or no-retained-audio policy, and does not promise clients or confirmed bookings.
Confirming a store purchase
KiwiPhone uses Apple in-app purchase on iPhone and Google Play Billing on Android, through RevenueCat. A purchase requires your explicit choice and the store’s confirmation. Eligible accounts can receive a 14-day free introductory trial. The app checks the product against the approved launch terms before enabling checkout. Review the store’s displayed price, eligibility and confirmation terms. Trial availability depends on verified eligibility.
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel through the store where you bought them. For Apple subscriptions, cancel at least 24 hours before a free trial ends to avoid a charge. Review the store’s confirmation and settings for the renewal price, date and applicable cancellation deadline. The app displays the verified date through which access continues. Payment failure, refund or expiry can end Pro, with Free limits applying afterwards.
Monthly Pro prices are £10 for the UK, CAD20 for Canada and NZD20 for New Zealand. The store shows the total price and applicable taxes before you confirm a purchase.
Canadian service includes Quebec and operates in English. New Zealand service operates in English and requires a qualifying physical business address. The business country determines service eligibility. Your store account determines the purchase currency and applicable tax treatment. Review the total on the store’s confirmation before subscribing.
Business answering hours follow the time zone you save in KiwiPhone. Travelling with your phone leaves those hours in the saved business time zone. The weekly Free allowance resets at Monday 00:00 UTC; the app shows that reset in your selected local time.
Restore, manage and defer
Use “Restore purchases” in the app while signed into the original KiwiPhone account. Purchases stay with that account, and trial eligibility remains subject to the store’s checks. Use Apple subscription settings or Google Play subscription settings for the store where you subscribed. Cancel there to stop renewal, including when you defer Pro, uninstall KiwiPhone or delete your account. The store handles refund requests under its policies.
The Apple standard licensed application EULA applies to the iPhone application. Review app privacy notice for account and purchase processing.
Readiness and support
Each country opens after its carrier and service checks are complete. Number availability and registration vary by country. KiwiPhone explains an unavailable market before you order a number or subscribe. Contact support before closing an account if you want to transfer your number.
Checkout requires configured billing and a working number with live service. Manage your subscription and renewal settings with the store where you bought it. Demo availability depends on service readiness; a completed practice conversation requires speech in both directions. When enabled it is limited to two minutes and 30 attempts per account per 24 hours. An uncertain provider creation may require operator recovery before another attempt. You may still explore Pro or return to Phone without purchasing.
Contact hi@kiwiphone.app for support. Keep payment credentials and verification codes out of support email. Your rights under applicable law continue to apply. Updated 13 October 2026.
