KiwiPhone brings a business phone number and an AI Receptionist to an iPhone app for sole traders and small businesses. Electricians can use it to take enquiries while wiring, testing or travelling between jobs. The app keeps call details together so you can prepare for the next conversation with a customer.

A separate UK business number on your iPhone

Customers call your local UK business number and you manage those calls in the KiwiPhone app on your existing iPhone. It works over mobile data or Wi-Fi, using the phone and SIM you already have.

Your personal mobile number stays private when customers contact you through KiwiPhone. The first release provides a new number, so plan where to publish it when your line is active.

Choose your AI answering hours

Choose ‘AI answers’ when you need to concentrate on your work. KiwiPhone takes the call straight away and asks what the customer needs. You can set a weekly schedule or change who answers in the app.

In Ring me mode, your iPhone rings first. After 60 seconds without an answer, AI answering starts while your plan’s pickup allowance permits. Free includes 5 AI pickups a week; Pro includes unlimited AI answering.

Give callers details about your services

Add your business website during setup, then check the information KiwiPhone imports. Your website might describe consumer unit upgrades or EICR testing, with details about EV charger installation. KiwiPhone uses your saved details to answer questions about the work you do.

Keep the areas you cover and your working hours up to date in the app. For enquiries such as a full rewire or a landlord electrical safety report, KiwiPhone takes the request for you to assess. You confirm availability and agree the work directly.

Follow up with the job details in front of you

After a completed KiwiPhone call, read the summary or open the transcript for more detail. KiwiPhone creates tasks from requests that need a follow-up, such as calling a homeowner about sockets that have stopped working. Each task links to the caller’s details.

On Free, callbacks use your iPhone’s normal phone service and caller ID. The planned Pro plan costs £10 a month and includes unlimited domestic calls from your KiwiPhone business number. KiwiPhone saves summaries for calls made through the app.

KiwiPhone takes the caller’s details and a description of what they need for you to review. You decide whether you can help and agree any timing directly. Callers who need emergency assistance should contact the appropriate emergency service.

Can KiwiPhone discuss prices or arrange a visit?

KiwiPhone can share the call-out charge saved in your business information. For anything that needs a quote or a visit, it takes the request. You confirm the price and booking with the caller.

Can I use the number already on my van and business cards?

KiwiPhone supplies a new local UK business number. Transferring your existing number is outside the first release. Once your new number is active, you can add it to your website and business listings.

What happens when my iPhone has no signal?

KiwiPhone’s AI Receptionist runs online independently of your iPhone’s connection. With ‘AI answers’ selected, KiwiPhone can take calls while you’re out of signal, within your plan’s allowance. You need data or Wi-Fi to use the app and read the details afterwards.

What does KiwiPhone cost?

The planned Free plan costs £0 a month. It includes a local UK number with unlimited incoming calls, plus 5 AI pickups a week. Pro is planned at £10 a month, adding unlimited AI answering and domestic calls from your business number. Joining the launch list is free.

Are calls recorded?

KiwiPhone processes call audio during the conversation and saves a written transcript. Audio recordings are not stored. You can read the transcript after a call answered by you or KiwiPhone.

When can I get KiwiPhone?
